Job summary

Superdrug is hiring for a position in Preston to join our pharmacy team as a Dispenser or Trainee Pharmacy Assistant. The role involves supporting counter sales, stock replenishment and delivering high-quality service in both the counter and dispensary.

No prior experience required, just a passion for healthcare and customer service; NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing is welcomed or an eagerness to start a career in pharmacy with us. This temporary post runs for 3 months with potential extension.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Dispensing (or equivalent) or keen interest in healthcare to begin your pharmacy career with us as a trainee.
• No prior experience required – just a passion for healthcare and customer service.
• Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Confidence to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Open to training in additional services.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the pharmacy team with counter sales and stock replenishment.
• Delivering exceptional service across both the pharmacy counter and dispensary.
• Ensuring customers and patients are served with care, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Maintaining high standards of presentation and merchandising.
