Job summary

Specsavers Keynsham is seeking a proactive Trainee Optical Lab Technician. You will support end-to-end glasses production, from preparing lenses and frames to final quality checks, using the latest equipment with accuracy and care.

The role offers hands-on training, a friendly store team, and a focus on professional development in a trusted brand. Full-time hours include a weekend day; benefits and pension are provided.

Qualifications

• Reading lens and frame specifications from prescriptions.
• Using blocking and glazing machines to cut lenses to the correct shape and fit.
• Assembling lenses into frames.
• Tinting of lenses to provide UV protection and colours.
• Quality checking of completed glasses.
• Good housekeeping and machine maintenance.

As a Trainee Lab Technician you'll support the end-to-end production of glasses, from preparing lenses and frames through to final quality checks.
