Job summary

Specsavers Keynsham store is hiring a Trainee Lab Technician to support end-to-end production of glasses, from lens and frame preparation to final quality checks. You'll work with the latest equipment and maintain high standards to maximise customer satisfaction.

You'll receive comprehensive training and join a friendly team; the role includes reading prescriptions, cutting lenses, tinting, assembling, ordering, and ensuring quality while keeping the workshop tidy.

Responsibilities

• Reading lens and frame specifications from prescriptions.
• Using blocking and glazing machines to cut lenses to the correct shape and fit.

• Quality checking of completed glasses.
• Good housekeeping and machine maintenance.

As a Trainee Lab Technician you'll support the end-to-end production of glasses, from preparing lenses and frames through to final quality checks. You will use the latest computer-controlled equipment with an eye for detail & accuracy, allowing you to maintain high standards to maximise customer satisfaction.
