Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment Ltd is seeking a time-served Mechanical Engineer to transition into a training career as a Trainee Tutor in Ellesmere Port. The role offers fully funded training and starts at £37,000 per year.

You will teach, mentor and coach learners pursuing Level 2 and 3 mechanical engineering qualifications, delivering and coordinating the completion of assessments in a supportive centre environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience within Mechanical Engineering (Maintenance or Design background preferred).
• Mandatory Level 3 Engineering related qualification.
• Enhanced DBS clearance required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to adapt to a training environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and coordinate the successful completion of mechanical engineering qualifications.
• Provide hands-on coaching and technical guidance to learners in the training centre.
• Train apprentices in line with awarding body standards.
• Work in a hands-on, team-focused environment.
