Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment is recruiting a time-served Mechanical Engineer transitioning to a training career as a Trainee Tutor in Ellesmere Port. The position offers a starting salary of 37,000 per year with fully funded training to gain teaching qualifications.

You will coach learners through Level 2 and Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualifications, deliver and coordinate assessments, and mentor apprentices in a supportive training centre environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' relevant occupational experience within Mechanical Engineering (Maintenance or Design background preferred).
• Mandatory Level 3 Engineering related qualification.
• Enhanced DBS clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Delivery and coordination of mechanical engineering qualifications to learners.
• Provide hands-on coaching and technical guidance to learners in the training centre.
• Train apprentices in line with awarding body standards.
• Work in a hands-on, self-motivated team environment.
