Rise Technical in Workington is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Trainer to deliver theory-led sessions to apprentices and full-time learners. You will be supported with full training and a formal teaching qualification, and your experience in Mechanical Engineering will help learners build confidence in core principles.

This role offers 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary between £28,000 and £40,000 plus a potential £4,000–£6,000 bonus, generous pension, and 55 days of holiday.

Qualifications

• Strong Mechanical Engineering knowledge.
• Level 3 qualification or higher.
• No teaching experience required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver theory-led Mechanical Engineering sessions.
• Support and mentor learners in a classroom environment.
