Job summary

Rainham Steel in Essex is hiring a Trainee Machine Operator to join our team. The role involves loading the machine, setting shapes, quality checking finished products and assembling bundles for packing, while keeping a tidy, safe workspace.

You must have a good command of English and be detail‑oriented, organized and able to work in a fast‑paced environment. The position offers a starting salary of £580 per week (£13.64 per hour), 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, training and career

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Basic Working Hours:6am-3.30pm, 42.5 hour Per week

Trainee Machine Operator - The Job Role

• Reporting to the warehouse manager
• Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
• Load the machine, set different shapes and quality check the finished product
• Assemble bundles for packing
• Physically able to cope with reasonable manual handling
• Flexible to do paid overtime when necessary
