Job summary

Rainham Steel Co Ltd in Scunthorpe is seeking a Trainee Machine Operator to join the production team. You will operate cutting and bending rebar machines, perform quality checks and assemble bundles, while maintaining safety and a tidy workspace.

Full-time, 42.5 hours per week, with paid overtime as required. The role offers a structured training program with no prior experience required, mentoring from skilled colleagues, and opportunities for promotion and career development within a dynamic

Salary: 573.75 per week ( 13.50 per hour) depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 42.5 hours per week, 6am to 3.30pm

Trainee Machine Operator - The Role:

In this role, you will work as part of our production team, reporting to supervisors while gaining valuable hands-on experience in steel operations. You will operate cutting and bending rebar machines to produce different shapes of rebar, perform quality checks on finished products, and assemble bundles for packing. You will maintain a tidy and safe working environment at all times and be flexible to undertake paid overtime when necessary.
