Job summary

The post holder will join the Barnsley Talking Therapies Service as a trainee member of the CBT team, undertaking a Post Graduate Diploma in CBT with supervision. On successful completion, progression to a Band 7 post is expected within the IAPT framework.

The role includes delivering High Intensity CBT to adults with mild to moderate mental health problems under supervision, with a reduced caseload, and contributing to service development within the NHS Foundation Trust.

Qualifications

• Willing to undertake Post Graduate Diploma in CBT
• UK professional registration required
• 2 years post-qualification experience (core or related)
• Ability to travel around the Trust
• IT literacy required

Responsibilities

• The post holder will undertake a Post Graduate Diploma in CBT and progress to a Band 7 post on completion.
• Provide High Intensity CBT interventions within an IAPT service under supervision.
• Manage a reduced caseload and deliver a high quality clinical service.
• Maintain clinical governance, documentation and CPD within the service.
