NHS Jobs is seeking a Trainee High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapist to work with children and young people under supervision, providing assessment and a range of therapeutic interventions.

The post involves risk assessment, collaboration with families and social care, and adherence to CYP IAPT values and standards, with supervision and case management built into the programme.

Responsabilités

• Provide under supervision assessment, including risk assessment, of children and young people with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
• Support waiting list management with prioritisation, assessment and signposting.
• Work with families involved with social care, liaising with social workers and other professionals.
• Select and deliver a range of therapeutic interventions for children, young people and families.
• Work within CYP IAPT Delivering with and Delivering Well Values and Standards.
• Undertake clinical supervision and case management weekly to meet required standards.
• Collaborate with Headteachers, SENCOs and teaching staff to provide consultative support on emotional and mental health issues.
