Job summary

Hotpoint is offering a Trainee Field Service Engineer role in the UK. You will visit customers' homes, diagnose and repair appliances, and provide top-notch service while learning on the job.

The training journey combines classroom learning, shadowing, in-centre technical training in Peterborough, and hands-on experience with real customers, with progression into a permanent role within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping customers and solving problems.
• Interest in electrics, mechanics or hands-on work.
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence.
• Physically able to move and lift appliances.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company van to customer appointments and diagnose appliances.
• Repair household appliances such as tumble dryers and washing machines.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain repairs clearly.
• Manage tools and spare parts stock.
• Promote Hotpoint products to customers.
