Job summary

Hotpoint in the United Kingdom is offering a Trainee Field Service Engineer role designed for hands-on learners. You will drive a company van to customer homes to diagnose and repair appliances, providing friendly service while learning on the road.

The training journey includes induction, shadowing, Phase 1 training in Peterborough, on-the-job learning for 6–9 months, and Phase 2 training. No prior field engineering experience is required, just a great attitude.

Qualifications

• Passionate about customer service.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Full UK manual driving licence required.
• Physically capable of moving and lifting appliances.
• Eligible to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Drive the company van to customer appointments and diagnose/repair appliances.
• Provide excellent customer service and explain work performed.
• Manage tools and spare parts stock on the road.
• Promote Hotpoint products to customers.
