Job summary

Hotpoint is seeking a Trainee Field Service Engineer to work across the United Kingdom. You’ll visit customers’ homes to diagnose and repair household appliances, while providing a friendly, professional service.

The training journey starts with an induction, shadowing an experienced engineer, and phased technical training, progressing to on-the-job learning, and a potential permanent role within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Passionate about customer service.
• Interested in electrics, mechanics, or hands-on problem-solving.
• Hold a full UK manual driving licence.
• Physically fit – able to move and lift appliances.
• Eligible to work in the UK.
• No prior field engineering experience required; a great attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Drive your own Hotpoint van to customer appointments.
• Diagnose and repair appliances like tumble dryers, electrical cookers, washing machines.
• Provide top-notch customer service.
• Manage your tools and spare parts stock.
• Promote our trusted Hotpoint products.
