Job summary

Omega Red Group is a recognised UK leader in earthing, lightning protection and height safety. We are recruiting a Trainee Fall Protection Operative to join our growing Height Safety team in Leatherhead. You’ll train hands-on, assist with installation, inspection, testing and repair across sites nationwide.

You’ll have access to industry-recognised training, NVQ in Working at Heights after a qualifying period, and a clear path for long-term development within the business.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel nationwide and work field-based.
• Confidence working at height.
• Experience in construction or related trades.
• CSCS Card required.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with installation, testing, inspection and repair of height safety systems.
• Learn safe working procedures on a variety of UK sites.
• Support project delivery, ensuring work is safe, efficient and high quality.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and quality at all times.
• Follow risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Develop technical skills through on-the-job training and formal learning.
• Contribute positively to the team and show willingness to learn.
