Job summary

PTSG Access & Safety is seeking a Field-Based Fall Protection Engineer / Access & Safety Operative to service height safety equipment across the UK. The role involves night work, weekends and occasional overnight stays, with a company van and fuel card provided.

You will service fall arrest systems, eyebolts, gantries, guardrails, ladders and lifting equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and British Standards. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working at height or in a safety-related role.
• Comfort using hand tools and working on-site.
• Possession of a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver servicing, maintenance and repairs to height safety equipment including fall arrest lines, eyebolts, gantries and guardrails.
• Inspect ladders and lifting equipment and ensure compliance with health and safety rules.
• Identify additional work required after service or reactive tasks and support other divisions when needed.
• Travel across the UK with occasional overnight stays.
