Job summary

Pacifica is seeking a Trainee White Goods Engineer – Field Based in Wakefield. You will receive full City & Guilds assured training at our centre in the north east and be paired with a dedicated mentor to become a qualified engineer.

No prior white goods repair experience is required, but hands-on mechanical or electrical experience and familiarity with using tools are preferred. The role includes visiting customers’ homes, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs with supervision before

Qualifications

• Hands-on mechanical or electrical experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and use tools.
• Good communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Learn to repair and maintain household appliances including washing machines and dishwashers.
• Visit customers’ homes to diagnose issues and carry out repairs.
• Work under guidance from a mentor while building skills and confidence.
• Record job details using our in-house engineer software.
