Boots in the UK is seeking a Trainee Dispenser in-store to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe and efficient pharmacy services to customers.

During your NVQ2 Dispenser training, you will greet patients, dispense prescriptions, advise on medicines, and work with store healthcare professionals to promote adherence and patient safety. This is a UK-based, in-store role with no remote applications accepted.

Qualifikationen

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.
• Experience working in community pharmacy is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Complete your training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing and collection).
• Work with other healthcare professionals in your store to assist in delivery of pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and to refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support the safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and medicines to promote adherence and reduce waste.
