Job summary

Boots in the United Kingdom is seeking a Trainee Dispenser to join the in-store pharmacy team. You will support the pharmacist, dispense prescriptions, and help deliver pharmacy services while completing your NVQ2 dispenser training.

This role is based in-store across the UK, with full training provided and no prior experience required. You will build relationships with patients, advise on medicines, and work under SOPs to ensure safe dispensing.

Qualifications

• Desire to learn and complete the Dispenser training programme (NVQ2).
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Complete training for the Pharmacy Advisor NVQ2 programme.
• Prescription dispensing whilst ensuring the safe supply of medicines (ordering, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, collection).
• Work with healthcare professionals to assist in delivery of pharmacy services.
