Job summary

The Alliance in Billingham, UK, is recruiting a full-time Children's Wellbeing Practitioner to assess and support children and young people with mild to moderate anxiety, depression and related mental health needs.

Under supervision, you will deliver evidence-based, low-intensity CBT interventions and work collaboratively with families, schools and professionals. The role includes a Postgraduate Diploma delivered with Northumbria University and travel across Teesside.

Qualifications

• Training to become a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner with supervision.
• Experience or learning in child development, wellbeing or mental health.
• Ability to study at degree level while working in role.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support children and young people with mild to moderate anxiety, depression and related mental health needs.
• Deliver evidence-based, low-intensity CBT interventions under supervision.
