Job summary

Alliance Psychological Services Limited is seeking a practitioner to deliver low‑intensity CBT for children and young people in Tees Valley, working with schools and communities. You will assess needs, plan and deliver interventions, and collaborate with families and professionals to improve mental health outcomes.

The role requires safeguarding knowledge, data collection, and a commitment to inclusive practice, with flexible working and access to professional supervision.

Qualifications

• 1:1 and group-based low intensity CBT interventions for children.
• Interventions with families using evidence-based approaches.
• Experience working in educational and community settings.
• Psychosocial assessments of children and young people.
• Assessment of safety and risk with appropriate recording.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outcome-focused, low intensity CBT for children and young people.
• Undertake psychosocial assessments and safety planning.
• Provide 1:1 and group-based therapeutic interventions with families.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents and professionals for treatment plans.
• Engage in multi-disciplinary and multi-agency meetings as part of referrals.
• Maintain records and contribute to data collection.
