Job summary

Northpoint in Calderdale is recruiting a Trainee CBT Recruit to Train Practitioner on a full-time, permanent basis, with a starting salary of £33,510 per annum. This role offers a hybrid working pattern and opportunities to develop through academic learning and supervised clinical practice.

You’ll balance coursework with hands-on experience, work with a CBT caseload for children and young people, and contribute to a supportive multi-disciplinary team that values inclusive, person-centred care.

Qualifications

• Some existing knowledge or experience of cognitive and/or behavioural therapy.
• A collaborative, compassionate and proactive approach.
• Commitment to inclusive, person-centred practice.
• Minimum two years’ post-qualification experience with children and young people.
• Educated to degree level or an equivalent number of University credits – this can include an appropriate Wellbeing Qualification including Level 6 or 7 University Credits (PWPs/CWPs/EMHPs/MHWP).

Responsibilities

• Train as a CBT therapist through the CYP-IAPT Recruit to Train route.
• Balance academic learning with supervised clinical practice.
• Work with a small CBT caseload of children and young people.
• Contribute positively to the Calderdale Therapeutic Team.
