Job summary

Alliance Psychological Services Ltd in Teesside is seeking a full-time Children's Wellbeing Practitioner trainee to start on 5 January 2027. You will deliver evidence-based, low-intensity CBT to children, young people and families and undertake the Postgraduate Diploma with Northumbria University through teaching, independent study and supervised practice.

Qualifications

• Experience with low-intensity CBT approaches for children and families.
• Degree or equivalent at academic level 6; willingness to study.
• Ability to engage with schools and community services.

Responsibilities

• Complete CWP training and postgraduate diploma.
• Provide evidence-based, low-intensity CBT to children and families.
• Undertake regular supervision and case management.
• Support mental health needs within community and educational settings.
• Follow safeguarding policies and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.
