Job summary

First Bus in Bridgend is seeking trainees to operate local bus services. You will receive full training from day one, with progression to a fully qualified driver. The role is permanent, full-time with guaranteed hours and structured rotas, and no prior PCV licence is required.

You’ll start at £14.32 per hour during training, rising to £14.75 per hour once qualified after 12 months, with potential overtime. A pension, holiday entitlement, and other employee benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Minimum age of 18.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexible approach to shift work.
• No PCV licence is required, full training is provided.
