Job summary

First Bus in Bridgend is hiring trainee and experienced bus drivers to join a dedicated team. You will operate modern, automatic buses, delivering safe and reliable transport for our communities. Training is provided for newcomers, and existing drivers must hold a PCV licence where required.

The role offers 39 hours per week and a pay rate of £12 to £12.96 per hour with overtime and weekend enhancements. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds and aim to support wellbeing with a focus on safety

Qualifications

• The minimum age is 18, with at least 6 months' driving experience.
• Don't worry if you've never driven anything bigger than a car before. We provide top-class training on our modern, automatic buses.
• Trainees need a full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
• Experienced drivers require a PCV licence
• All drivers need the flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including early mornings, evenings and weekends
