Job summary

Arriva Stockton depot is looking for Trainee Bus Drivers to start your driving career and serve the community by transporting passengers on local routes. You will receive full paid training to obtain your PCV licence at the Arriva Training School, usually about four weeks, followed by mentoring.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Will need undergo a drug and alcohol test before your assessment.
• Will need to pass an English comprehension test.

Responsibilities

• Rotating shift pattern of 5 days in 7, including early mornings from 04:00 and evenings, with shifts planned 6–8 weeks in advance.
• Conduct passengers boarding and alighting safely and professionally.
• Provide great customer service and represent Arriva in the community.
