Job summary

Arriva Speke depot is recruiting Trainee Bus Drivers to serve local communities, delivering safe and timely journeys for passengers. You’ll receive full paid training to obtain a PCV licence through the Arriva Training School and gain CPC-based professional development.

You’ll work 6–8 weeks in advance with rotating shifts, including early mornings, afternoons and evenings, with progression into roles in management or as an expert driver and family bus passes included.

Qualifications

• Be over 18 years old with at least 12 months of driving experience.
• Hold a valid UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses to transport passengers safely and on time.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers.
• Adhere to shifts and route schedules as planned.
• Maintain professional appearance and report incidents.
