Job summary

Arriva Whitby depot is seeking a Trainee Bus Driver to serve the local community. The role offers a pay rate of £13.70–£16.30 per hour and a clear training path to obtain a PCV licence through the Arriva Training School.

You will work a rotating shift pattern with early morning starts, weekend work and bank holiday bonuses, plus ongoing CPC training and benefits that support career progression and staff well-being.

Qualifications

• Must have good people skills.
• Be able to work in a rotating shift pattern.
• Must pass an English comprehension test.

Responsibilities

• Drive bus routes and serve passengers safely.
• Complete paid training to obtain the PCV licence at the Arriva Training School.
