Job summary

Arriva UK Bus Ltd. invites applications for a Trainee Bus Driver at the Blyth depot. You will join a team dedicated to serving the community, starting with full paid training to obtain your PCV licence, followed by CPC training and hands-on mentoring.

Roles include a rotating shift pattern (4:00 start to early evening), with overtime on request. The position offers development opportunities and a strong emphasis on safety and passenger experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Will need to undergo a drug and alcohol test before your assessment.
• Will need to pass an English comprehension test.
• Shifts start as early as 4AM and can go beyond 1AM.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses to transport customers safely and reliably.
• Complete PCV licence training and CPC training as part of development.
• Work a rotating pattern of 5 days in 7 with early, daytime and evening shifts.
