Job summary

Arriva Thurmaston is recruiting a Trainee Bus Driver to join our community-focused team. You’ll receive full paid training to obtain the PCV licence at the Arriva Training School and then work with a mentor as you begin driving routes.

Expect rotating shifts with early starts and evenings, plus ongoing CPC training and clear career progression. We offer extensive staff benefits, including discounted travel for you and your family.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on your licence.
• Pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Excellent customer service and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete training to obtain PCV licence at Arriva Training School.
• Drive routes and serve customers on board.
• Work rotating shifts including mornings and evenings.
• Participate in CPC training and ongoing development.
