Job summary

Arriva in Whitby is recruiting a Trainee Bus Driver to start your driving career in our community-focused depot. You will receive full paid training, PCV licence, and ongoing CPC training, with shifts starting as early as 04:00.

A rotating 5-in-7 pattern and opportunities for progression across management or specialist driver roles are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Have been driving for a minimum of 6 months.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• Will undergo a drug and alcohol test before assessment.
• Will pass an English comprehension test.
• Great people skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive buses on scheduled routes while following health and safety rules.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist passengers.
• Ensure bus is clean and well maintained between shifts.
• Attend required training and mentoring sessions.
