Job summary

Arriva Midlands Limited invites you to start your bus driving career at our Coalville depot, where you will connect communities and shape daily journeys for customers. You will train to become a PCV licensed driver through Arriva Training School, then work with a mentor to gain real on-road experience.

Qualifications

Trainee Bus Driver Pay rate: £13.45 - £18.06 per hour Start your bus driving career with Arriva at our Coalville depot, where you will be at the heart of your community! Pay Rates

Pay Rate: £13.45 - £35.36 per hour

• During Training (the first 4-6 weeks) - £13.45 per hour
• Rate during mentoring: Monday - Friday: £13.55 per hour (£14.05 after 6pm)
• Saturday: £14.55 per hour
• Sunday & Bank Holiday: £15.55 per hour
• After Training and mentoring: Monday - Friday: £15.05 per hour (£15.55 after 6pm)
• Saturday: £16.05 per hour
• Sunday: £17.05 per hour
• Bank Holiday: £33.86 per hour
• Lead Driver for Coalville: Monday - Friday: £16.55 per hour (£17.05 after 6pm)
• Saturday: £17.55 per hour
• Sunday: £18.55 per hour
• Bank Holiday: £35.36 per hour

Hours of Work

5 out of 7 rotating shift patterns, planned up to 6-8 weeks in advance so you can plan around shifts. Mornings starting from 04:00, Afternoons start from 12:00 and Evenings from 18:00 on a rotational basis. We cannot offer fixed early, afternoon or evenings separately. Overtime available at request / availability.
