Job summary

Medstrom is seeking a motivated Trainee Bench Engineer to join our Castle Donington service team. A clean driving licence is advantageous, and the role involves hands-on repair and maintenance of medical products with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical experience desirable and willingness to learn.
• Fault finding and diagnostics experience advantageous.
• Full driving licence is an advantage but not essential for site-based work.
• Ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work on own initiative and follow procedures to meet deadlines.
• Basic IT skills including email and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain medical products in line with training.
• Complete product modifications as directed.
• Use company tools and equipment appropriately.
• Assist in product cleaning and testing to ensure fit for purpose.
• Inspect products for damage and document findings.
• Maintain stock and spare parts inventory.
• Support colleagues with technical expertise.
• Keep a clean and tidy work environment.
