Job summary

Protocol Education are looking for Trainee Behaviour Teaching Assistants to work within schools across Sunderland. This role could be particularly suited to people from youth work, sports, care, mentoring or support backgrounds who want to move into education.

You'll work alongside teachers and pastoral teams to support pupils who may need additional help with behaviour, emotional regulation and engagement.

Qualifications

• No prior school experience required.
• Experience in youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, care, or support work.
• Experience in residential or community settings is valued.

Hours: Monday–Friday, school hours
Pay: £98–£120 per day, depending on experience

Driving Advantageous

A driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous for accessing schools across Sunderland and surrounding areas, but is not essential.
