Job summary

Bradley Environmental Consultants, powered by Vadella, is seeking a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor in Livingston. This field-based role is full-time and offers on-the-job training while you work towards BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications.

You will support the surveying team across varied sites, assist with management, refurbishment and demolition surveys, and learn asbestos air monitoring and four-stage clearance, building experience toward professional qualifications and a rewarding career.

Qualifications

• No previous asbestos experience necessary - full training provided.
• Willing to work towards BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications.
• An interest in building compliance, health and safety or environmental services.
• A strong desire to learn and develop technical knowledge of HSG248 and HSG264.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Great attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced surveyors with Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos Surveys in accordance with HSG264.
• Support asbestos reinspection surveys and audits.
• Learn asbestos air monitoring, four-stage clearance and analytical procedures in accordance with HSG248.
• Shadow supervision of licensed asbestos removal projects.
• Assist with the production of accurate survey reports and technical documentation.
• Develop your technical knowledge to provide professional advice and consultancy to clients over time.
• Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and professionalism.
• Represent Bradley Environmental Consultants to the highest standard on client sites.
