Job summary

Bradley Environmental Consultants, part of the Vadella Group, is seeking a Trainee Asbestos Surveyor in Maidstone to join our field-based Operations team. This entry role offers full training and a clear pathway toward BOHS qualifications, with hands-on experience delivering surveying services across UK sites.

You will work alongside experienced surveyors, gaining practical exposure in management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys, and learning air monitoring and reporting standards.

Qualifications

• No previous asbestos experience necessary – full training provided.
• Willing to work towards BOHS P402, P403 and P404 qualifications.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Flexible approach to working hours.
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check (paid for by the company).

Responsibilities

• Assisting experienced surveyors with Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Asbestos Surveys in accordance with HSG264.
• Supporting asbestos reinspection surveys and audits.
• Learning asbestos air monitoring, four-stage clearance and analytical procedures in accordance with HSG248.
• Shadowing supervision of licensed asbestos removal projects.
• Assisting with the production of accurate survey reports and technical documentation.
• Developing your technical knowledge to provide professional advice and consultancy to clients over time.
