Qualifications

• Previous sales experience is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete structured training on forklift equipment and sales processes.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Portsmouth/Dorset/Hampshire territory.
• Generate leads via phone, email, networking and direct business development.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers.
• Shadow senior Area Sales Managers on visits to learn sales, negotiating and closing techniques.
• Support existing accounts to maximise satisfaction and retention.
• Maintain accurate records of leads and activities in the CRM system.
• Work towards sales targets with earning potential through commission.
