An exciting opportunity exists for an individual to join a dynamic and enthusiastic nursing team within the NHS Tayside Hospital at Night (HAN) Service.
Using advanced clinical knowledge and skills, our Advanced Nurse Practitioners work effectively as senior members of the Hospital at Night service to deliver high quality and clinically effective person-centred care.
You should be a registered nurse with a broad range of knowledge and skills, and extensive experience across various specialties. Applicants should understand and have demonstrable knowledge of the demands of working within an acute environment.
The successful delivery of safe, effective, and efficient person-centred care relies on our Advanced Nurse Practitioners possessing transformational leadership qualities, resilience, flexibility to change, and the ability to work closely as part of a multidisciplinary team while valuing all members of the Hospital at Night service.
Applicants who meet the full requirements of an Advanced Nurse Practitioner will start on Band 7. Those interested in the Trainee Advanced Nurse Practitioner pathway will start on Band 6/7 Annex 21 Para 2 (i). Upon successful completion of academic and clinical requirements and attainment of a PG Diploma in Advanced Practice, they will be transferred to full Band 7 banding.
Valid UK NMC Registration is essential for this post.

Working hours are 28.37 hours per week, including day and night duties, with 10 shifts per month.
