About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and innovative nurse to join NHS Fife’s Community Cardiac Specialist Nurse Team as a Cardiac Clinical Nurse Specialist. The service operates Monday to Friday during business hours and provides holistic, evidence-based specialist care to individuals diagnosed with various cardiac conditions across Fife. You will be based at Stratheden Hospital, working Fife-wide, contributing to service development, implementation, and evaluation to improve patient management, treatment, and support.

Candidate Profile
  • Experienced Cardiac CNS with a non-medical prescribing qualification and postgraduate Level 11 in clinical assessment & decision making.
  • For Band 6, supporting colleagues will be part of your role.
  • For Band 5 to Band 6 progression under Annex 21: experienced nurse with cardiology background, degree-level education, recent CPD, and willingness to undertake necessary qualifications.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to work autonomously, and effective team collaboration.
  • Must be able to travel reliably across various sites and patient homes in Fife.
