Job summary

DJH in Chester is offering a Trainee Accountant apprenticeship within the Early Careers department. After induction, you'll follow a personal development plan aimed at becoming a fully-fledged accountant, with a fast-paced, engaging environment and structured study support.

You'll contribute to preparing financial statements, calculating taxes, and building client relationships while pursuing AAT studies and a professional qualification.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing year-end financial statements for a diverse client base.
• Compute corporation and personal tax liabilities and contribute to tax planning ideas.
• Engage in personal development plan activities, shadowing and learning for AAT studies.
• Build long-lasting relationships with clients and deliver exceptional service.

Education

GCSEs (minimum 5, including Maths and English at level 6 or above)

A Levels (3 grade C or above)

AAT studies (Accounting Technician)
