Job summary

DJH, in partnership with Thorne Widgery, invites applications for a Trainee Accountant apprenticeship in Hereford. After induction you'll follow a personal development plan to progress toward becoming a fully-fledged accountant, with funded training and support.

Your day will include working in a talented team, preparing year-end statements, calculating tax liabilities, and building client relationships while you study for AAT.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 GCSEs including Maths and English at level 5 or above.
• On track to achieve 3 A Levels (or equivalent) Grade C or above.
• Excellent people skills and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Preparing year-end financial statements for clients.
• Calculating corporation and personal tax liabilities and suggesting planning ideas.
• Shadowing and following a personal development plan to support AAT studies.
• Building long-lasting relationships with clients.
