Job summary

DJH is seeking a Trainee Accountant apprentice in Stoke-on-Trent. After induction, a personal development plan will guide you to become a fully-fledged Accountant. You’ll work with a talented team, prepare financial statements, and learn tax concepts while pursuing AAT studies.

Qualifications

• GCSEs: minimum 5, with Maths and English grade 6 or higher.
• On track to achieve 3 A Levels (or equivalent) Grade C or above.

Responsibilities

• Prepare year-end financial statements for a wide range of clients.
• Calculate corporation and personal tax liabilities and contribute tax planning ideas.
• Shadow and learn to progress in AAT studies to become a fully-fledged Accountant.
• Build long-lasting relationships with clients and help deliver exceptional service.
