Job summary

Yunex Traffic is seeking a Technical Support Engineer in Crawley to provide technical assistance on traffic signal equipment, diagnose faults, and support installation and maintenance teams. The role requires experience with Intelligent Traffic Systems and NHSS 8, plus a full UK driving license.

Qualifications

• HNC/ONC/City and Guilds in electrical engineering required.
• Full UK Driving License required.
• Experience with National Highway Sector Scheme 8 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to colleagues on traffic signal equipment.
• Perform fault diagnosis and installation tasks for CCTV, VMS, wireless, routers, and signal controllers.
• Coach and mentor other engineers and support maintenance and installation teams.
• Configure traffic signal equipment and commissioning to ensure proper functionality.
• Be available for standby duty and out-of-hours service contracts.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to refine processes and tools.
• Drive improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
• Stay updated with new equipment and systems through relevant training.
