Job summary

The role requires a valid Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banker ticket, a CSCS card, full PPE, and reliable, punctual work ethic. You must have the right to work in the UK and be prepared for ongoing long-term work with regular weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banker Ticket.
• Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer or above).
• Full PPE: high-visibility clothing, steel-toe boots, helmet and gloves.
• Experience managing busy site entrances and traffic.
• Punctual, reliable and good communication.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Safely guiding construction traffic, deliveries and plant vehicles in and out of site gates.
• Controlling pedestrian access near site entry points and keeping highways clear.
• Logging incoming deliveries and liaising with Site Manager and gate security.
• Assisting with general labour, material movement and tidying during downtime.
• Enforcing traffic management plans and health and safety protocols.

Job Title: Traffic Marshall / General Labourer

Location: Reigate, Kent

Start Date: Monday 25th October 2027

Contract Duration: Long:Term / Ongoing

Pay Rate: GBP15.00 : GBP17.00 per hour (dependent on pay type)

About The Role

We are recruiting an experienced Traffic Marshall / Labourer for a major construction project starting on Tuesday, 26th October 2027.

This is a combined role where you will oversee safe vehicle access and traffic flow into site gates while assisting with general site labouring duties during quieter periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely guiding construction traffic, delivery lorries, and plant vehicles in and out of site gates.
• Controlling pedestrian access near site entry points and keeping public highways clear.
• Logging incoming site deliveries and liaising with the Site Manager and gate security.
• Assisting with general site labouring duties, material movement, and site tidying during downtime.
• Strictly enforcing site traffic management plans and health and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Valid Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Banker Ticket (CPCS, NPORS, or recognized equivalent).
• Valid CSCS Card (Green Labourer card or above).
• Full PPE (High:vis jacket and trousers, steel toe boots, hard hat, and gloves).
• Previous experience managing busy site entrances and construction traffic.
• Punctual, reliable, and strong communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK.

Working Hours and Benefits

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM : 4:30 PM (40:45 hours per week).
• Start Date: Tuesday, 26th October 2027.
• Duration: Long:term ongoing work.
• Weekly pay via CIS, Umbrella, or PAYE options.
