Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property is recruiting a Traffic Marshall for a residential project in Banbury. You will manage vehicle and pedestrian flows, assist with site safety, and communicate with drivers using hand signals and radios.

The role is temporary for approximately two weeks with an hourly pay rate of £16.50–£17.00. Applicants must hold a valid NPORS or CPCS Card, have prior traffic marshalling on large sites, and provide a recent checkable work reference.

Qualifications

• Valid NPORS or CPCS card required for Traffic Marshall tasks.
• Experience as a Traffic Marshall on utility or large construction sites.
• Recent checkable work reference essential.
• Proactive approach to site safety and communication.

Responsibilities

• Guide vehicles and pedestrians to maintain safe traffic flow.

• Follow traffic management plans and protect pedestrians at crossings.
• Assist with site security and keep records of traffic flow and incidents.

Randstad UK CPE Reading team is currently recruiting Traffic Marshall for a residential project in Banbury.

• Job Title: Traffic Marshall (Construction)
• Location: Banbury-OX16
• Pay Rate: 16.50 - 17.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Guiding vehicles and heavy machinery through designated routes to ensure smooth traffic flow.
• Using hand signals, signs, and radios to communicate clearly with drivers and operators.
• Monitoring the site for obstructions or unsafe conditions and taking immediate action to mitigate risks.
• Implementing established traffic management plans and ensuring the safety of pedestrians at crossing points.
• Assisting with site security to deter unauthorized access and maintaining accurate records of traffic flow or incidents.
• Participating in toolbox talks and reporting any safety hazards to site management.

Qualifications & Requirements
