Job summary

DX is seeking a proactive Traffic Manager to oversee depot service levels and delivery performance. You will lead a busy team, monitor routes, review KPIs, and ensure compliance with budgets, safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the logistics or distribution industry.

Responsibilities

• Manage and produce daily and weekly reports as required.
• Ensuring collection conformance to standards
• Controls all key controls for vehicles.
• Monitors and reviews operational performance and takes timely action to address any issues.
• Ensure all company legal requirements are met.
• Close management of sub-contractors to ensure an effective and efficient service is provided in line with budgeted cost.
• Manage a robust pre-brief and de-brief process is maintained at all times.
• Route contingency planning
• Continually strive to improve service levels and reduce cost
• Health and safety management
• Manage Traffic team effectively
