Chevron, part of Ramudden Global UK, seeks a Traffic Management Operative (Qualified) in Brentwood. You will deliver on-site traffic control, set up closures, and work across day/evening/night shifts. Company van provided; weekend work is possible and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Qualifications: M1/M2/Lantra or higher.
• Knowledge of Chapter 8 regulations.
• Full licence with no more than 6 points; bans expiry 5+ years.
• Pass drug/alcohol tests; flexible, proactive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Manage traffic per regulatory requirements and site plans.
• Be flexible for weekends, nights, and away work as needed.
• Mentor new trainees and share your knowledge.
• Operate with a company van and participate in on-call rota.

Job title - Traffic Management Operative (Qualified)

Location: Brentwood

Hours: Guaranteed 48 HPW plus OT opportunities; must be flexible to work weekends! Day shifts are typical, but flexibility is key - you'll need to be open to evenings, nights, weekends, working away during peak periods, and joining the on-call rota, especially if you have access to a company van.

What we are looking for

As a Traffic Management Operative, the following requirements are essential!

• Qualifications: M1 M2, M3 M4 M5 M6, SLG Unit 2 will be considered
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations.
• Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago.
• Testing: Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results).
• Attitude: Positive, "can-do" mindset.
• Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Flexibility: Able to work weekends, nights and work away, if and when required.
• Mentor New Trainees: Share your knowledge and guide new team members as they learn the ropes.
