Job summary

Chevron Traffic Management, part of Ramudden Global UK, is seeking a Traffic Management Operative (Qualified) for Somerton. The role requires flexibility for weekends, evenings, nights and occasional travel, with a company van provided and a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualified operatives with M1/M6 (and related SLG unit 2) are encouraged to apply. Generous benefits include a sign-on bonus, vehicle perks, and career progression through our internal academy.

• Qualifications: M1 M2, M3 M4 M5 M6; SLG Unit 2 considered.
• Knowledge: Chapter 8 regulations.
• Driving Licence: Full licence with few points (max 6) and no recent bans.
• Testing: Drug and alcohol test required.
• Attitude: Positive, can-do mindset.
• Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, meticulous attention to detail.
• Flexibility: Weekend, night, and away work as needed.
• Mentor New Trainees: Share knowledge with new team members.

Day shifts are typical, but flexibility is key - you'll need to be open to evenings, nights, weekends, working away during peak periods, and joining the on-call rota, especially if you have access to a company van

What we are looking for:

As a Traffic Management Operative, the following requirements are essential!

• Qualifications: M1 M2, M3 M4 M5 M6. SLG Unit 2 will be considered
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations.
• Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago.
• Testing: Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results).
• Attitude: Positive, "can-do" mindset.
• Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Flexibility: Able to work weekends, nights and work away, if and when required.
• Mentor New Trainees: Share your knowledge and guide new team members as they learn the ropes.

Traffic Management Training is subject to signing a training agreement.
