Job summary

idverde is hiring Traffic Management Operatives to oversee safe operations on high-speed roads in the South West. The role balances on-site work with IPV vehicle operation to protect workers and road users.

Requirements include NHSS 12 AB (training available if you have an HGV licence), a full UK driving licence, and experience in TM. Night and weekend shifts are available, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• NHSS 12 AB qualification required or training provided if HGV licence held.
• HGV Class 2 and Full UK driving licence essential.
• Experience in high-speed traffic management and Chapter 8 knowledge.
• Strong leadership and clear communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and deliver safe traffic management on high-speed roads.
• Operate IPV vehicles in line with NHSS 12AB standards.
• Enforce safety procedures and decision making in mobile works.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure compliant operations on site.
