Manpower UK is seeking Traffic Management Operatives (12AB) / IPV Drivers for permanent, full‑time roles centered in Totnes, covering South West England with a Staverton depot in Devon. Shifts are Mon–Fri, 17:00–07:00, delivering compliant traffic management on high‑speed roads while meeting NHSS 12AB standards.

Responsibilities include on‑site operations, layout installation, and IPV vehicle operation to protect workers and road users.

Qualifications

• NHSS 12AB qualification required or can be trained if HGV licence is held.
• HGV Class 2 and full UK driving licence are essential.
• Experience in high‑speed traffic management environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Chapter 8 safety regulations and procedures.
• Good leadership and clear communication under pressure.
• Flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site traffic management operations on high‑speed roads.
• Install and maintain traffic management layouts and ensure NHSS 12AB compliance.
• Safely operate IPV vehicles to protect workers and road users.
• Lead and communicate with the team to meet safety standards.
