Are you an experienced traffic engineering professional looking to make a real impact on Bristol's transport network?
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Traffic Engineer to join our Transport Service. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in the development and delivery of traffic and transport projects that support safer, more sustainable and accessible travel across the city.
You'll have relevant qualifications or substantial experience in traffic engineering, transport planning or a related discipline, together with a sound understanding of transport legislation and practices. You'll be confident managing projects, solving complex problems and communicating effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
You'll bring experience of delivering technical work, prioritising competing demands and working collaboratively to achieve successful outcomes. Knowledge of TSRGD 2016 and Traffic Regulation Order procedures is essential.
